I’m Kami Divine, author of Red’s Story and creator of the worlds of Desnailah and Totus. I write stories that combine imagination with meaningful lessons, encouraging readers of all ages to explore courage, purpose, and the power of choosing their light.

I am a storyteller, creator, and mother cultivating intellectual artistry through lived experience, imagination, and awareness.
My work lives at the intersection of story, film, mixology, and metaphysical understanding. I don’t separate these worlds. I build from them. I write from them. I live them.
Through my books, characters, and creative systems like Red’s Story, Totus, and the Light Codes, I explore how perception shapes reality and how awareness transforms behavior, emotion, and choice.
I am also an actress, with work that includes Queen Sugar and an expanding creative presence through IMDb as I continue developing my path in film and storytelling.
At the core of everything I create is motherhood, legacy, and the desire to turn lived experience into meaning that others can feel, understand, and grow from.
